Vladan Devedzic is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Technology Enhanced Learning (IJTEL), ISSN (Online): 1753-5263, ISSN (Print): 1753-5255, published by Inderscience Publishers, and a member of Editorial Boards of three other international scientific journals: International Journal of Web Based Communities (IJWBC), ISSN (Online): 1741-8216, ISSN (Paper): 1477-8394, published by Inderscience Publishers; International Journal of Knowledge and Learning (IJKL), ISSN (Online): 1741-1017, ISSN (Paper): 1741-1009, published by Inderscience Publishers; Facta Universitatis, Series: Electronics and Energetics, published by the University of Niš, Serbia.
In the Computer Science and Information Systems (ComSIS) journal, ISSN: 1820-0214, published by ComSIS Consortium, he was the Editor-in-Chief in 2005 (Vol.2, Nos. 1 and 2) and then an Associate Editor up to 2018.
He is also a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Education, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, and International Journal of Knowledge-Based & Intelligent Engineering Systems (KES journal).
Tutorials, invited talks, program committees, reviews
Vladan Devedzic has given 24 tutorials at international conferences, two in-house tutorials, and has participated as a presenter in a number of national and international seminars.
So far, he has given 15 invited talks at international conferences (complete list available upon request).
He is a participant in numerous research symposia, conferences, and seminars worldwide since 1986. He has been a member of the program committees of a number of international conferences, and is also a frequent member of program committees of regional computer science conferences.
Vladan Devedzic is also a book reviewer and a project reviewer/evaluator. His most recent international resarch project review was done for the iCamp project.
Working visits and sabbaticals
In May 2018 he spent a few weeks in a working visit / teacher exchange program at the Mälardalen University, Västerås, Sweden.
In July/August 2006 he spent a month in a working visit at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA.
From April to October 2002 he spent his 6-month sabbatical leave teaching at the Department of Computer Science, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, as an Erskine Fellow Visitor.
In April 1992. he spent a month in a working visit at The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA.
